What are Escape Rooms?

Escape Rooms are a live escape game experience based on the Japanese online game, 'Takagism'. You are locked inside a themed room, and need to work as a team to solve puzzles and riddles in order to escape.

Are Escape Rooms Scary?

Definitely not! Escape Rooms are a fun and friendly experience for all ages!

Do you offer jumpscares/Live actors?

Unfortunately No, We are an escape room company NOT a scare maze attraction

How do I book a game?

Easy! Just find the game you want and click on 'Book Now' Select your number of players, date and time and proceed with your booking!

Will I be playing with other participants?

Bookings for indoor escape rooms will automatically be privatised so that only your selected players will experience the game session. Booking alterations can be made over phone and email.

How many players can I have in a room?

All of our games are designed for a minimum of 2 players. The maximum capacity ranges from game to game so be sure to check each game listing carefully to ensure we can cater for your amount of players.

Is there an age restriction?

No one under the age of 8 is permitted to play any of our games.Children play at parents discretion.

children 7 and under are not permitted to access our venue due to insurance restrictions

Can kids play alone?

NO! Unfortunately all children aged 8 to 12 Must have a paying adult in the room with them

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. All games are subject to availability, and as such we heavily suggest booking in advance.

Are you “locked” in a room?

No. The doors are closed but never locked so should you feel the need to leave the room, you are welcome to do so at any time.

How early should I arrive for my game?

You MUST arrive 15 minutes before your game's start time so as to ensure you are briefed for the game. Late arrivals will NOT be permitted and refunds will NOT be given.

How long will I be at Room Lockdown?

Most visits to Room Lockdown typically last 90 minutes. This time is typically divided between:

  • 15 minutes: Briefing
  • 60 minutes: Gameplay
  • 15 minutes: Debriefing and photo opportunity

If you manage to escape before your sixty minutes of gameplay ends, then your visit time will be accordingly shorter.

Im a sore loser!

Although we all like to succeed and escape, sometimes this is not possible as we all have a different expertise levels!

However help is at hand at anytime during your game and you can ask for as many clues as you like!

but please don't take your loss out on our games masters! they are here to help you and make sure you have an outstanding time.

What games are easy and which games are hard?

Absolutely impossible to answer....Let me explain

all our games are challenging but fun, some players may find our easiest room extremely hard whilst others can escape with record times!

Some room that players find extremely hard others find it extremely easy!

So......What's easy and whats hard.....Well that all depends on you and your team!

Have you played before?

Conclusion! Well there is only one way to find out? Come play an escape room of your choice and be your own judge in this matter.

Do you offer refunds?

All of our games are non-refundable as you are booking a live game. We also do not offer any credit scheme!

However, we can reschedule your game if you contact us at least 48 hours prior to your game start time.

Do you have free parking?

Yes! Free parking is available in our car park on a first come first serve basis.

(Registration for free parking required) Use the ipad in reception to register your vehicle.

Do you use special effects in your games?

We have fog/haze effects in some of our room and the use of strobe lighting in some of our seasonal games, these are clearly listing within the games info
